Up to 900,000 viewers across GB will see the Derry Halloween festivities today (30^th October) on ITV’s daytime TV show This Morning, with filming supported by Tourism Ireland.

There’s excitement in the Derry autumn air as the city readies itself for the 12th Edition of The City of Derry International Choir Festival, kicking off on Wednesday 23rd October and welcoming over 100 choirs to take part in a joyous celebration of singing.

Leading private bus and coach operator Aircoach has been announced as the official travel partner for Derry Halloween Festival 2024.

A packed programme of family friendly Halloween events for the Strabane area has been unveiled by the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Lilian Seenoi Barr.

As the nights draw in it’s a busy time in the home of Halloween as the final preparations are put in place for the Carnival parade that is the centrepiece of Derry’s world-famous festivities.

The 2024 cruise season at Foyle Port wrapped up on Sunday 15th September, marking the end of a successful period in the Port's 170th year of operations. The last ship to depart Derry-Londonderry was Hebridean Princess, concluding a season that saw over 10,000 passengers and crew visit the region, bringing significant financial benefits to the local community.
