Derry’s Renowned Food Month Returns with More Bite!

Now in its third year, Love LegenDerry Food Month* has firmly established Derry-Londonderry as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. This February, the historic city and its surrounding district will once again celebrate its exceptional culinary heritage with a month-long programme of unique events and experiences.

Thousands of families will line the streets of the city centre this Friday November 22nd as a procession, led by Santa Claus and Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Lilian Seenoi Barr, turns on the Christmas lights for 2024.

The season of magic and sparkle will almost upon us. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, full of festive cheer and sleigh bells, and almost time for the Allegri and Orchestra NorthWest Christmas concert spectacular.

Up to 900,000 viewers across GB will see the Derry Halloween festivities today (30^th October) on ITV’s daytime TV show This Morning, with filming supported by Tourism Ireland.
