THE TRIUMPH OF MUSIC
Saturday, April 19th | 12-6pm | Guildhall Square, Derry

MUSIC. HISTORY. DANCE. CELEBRATION. JOY.
Be part of history as The National Gallery's bicentenary celebration comes to Derry! Award-winning artist Jeremy Deller presents "The Triumph of Music," the first in a series of UK-wide public art events culminating in Trafalgar Square this July.
Derry has been specially selected to launch this momentous celebration, transforming Guildhall Square into a vibrant festival of sound and community. Known for his boundary-breaking work like "The Battle of Orgreave" and the moving Somme remembrance "We're Here Because We're Here," Deller creates unforgettable participatory experiences that dissolve barriers between art and audience.

This free public event promises to be a unique and powerful celebration of music's triumph in our lives and communities. Join fellow music lovers, artists, and performers for an afternoon of artistic expression and joy for all the family as part of the National Gallery's 200th anniversary festivities.

The celebration continues across the UK with events in Plymouth, Llandudno, and Dundee before the grand finale in London.

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of Jeremy Deller's vision and celebrate our rich cultural heritage together.

Everyone welcome. Free admission.
