About

Pull on your walking boots and come enjoy a truly wonderful walking experience - one which has been defined by nature and refined by the seasons to provide an ever changing backdrop to the Killeter story.

The forest contains four waymarked walking trails that vary in length from 3km- 12km. The trails follow forest roads and tracks, river bank paths and narrow country roads that all give access to one of the largest forests in Ireland. In key areas of interest, a number of information panels have been installed. These panels reveal the story behind the area, its habitats and notable wildlife.

Parking available at the Big Bridge, Tullycar Road, Killeter, Co.Tyrone for the Mullyfa, Holy Well , and Bannadoo Trails, and on the Tullnashane Road, Killeter  for the Tullnashane Trail.
