Edel MacBride is an Irish designer with awards for both creative knitwear collections and socially responsible entrepreneurship. Working only with locally spun and dyed wools, Edels work is available to purchase locally at Number 19 Craft and Design, The Craft Village. As a textile maker, her studio mission is to maintain and educate audiences in the story and skills of traditional Irish knitwear, especially aran.
