Michael Cooper is Derry’s first Blue Badge Guide with a BA Irish History & Politics-1997-UU, MA Irish History & Politics-2001-UU, Blue Badge Accreditation 2005-Castlereagh College and PG Cert Computing & information systems 1998-UU. The Blue Badge is the highest qualification in tourist guiding.

Sample itineraries:
Half day Causeway: includes Dunluce Castle photostop, 1 ½ -2 hrs at Giants Causeway, stop at Bushmills Distillery giftshop and return journey via Castlerock/Downhill coastal route.
Full day: photostop at Dunluce, 2 hrs at Giant's Causeway, tour of Bushmills Distillery or visit to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (neither activity is included in rate).
Return journey via Castlerock/Downhill coastal route including guided tour of Mussenden Temple on request (admission fee required during peak season).
Inishowen:
Half day: includes scenic drive on Inishowen 100 through Buncrana/Mamore Gap, visit to Doagh Famine Village (admission not included in rate) and visit to Banba's Crown, Malin Head (most northerly point in Ireland).
Full day: as above but also including visit to Dunree Military Museum or Greencastle Maritime Museum (admission not included in rate), lunch stop at Seaview restaurant, Malin Head (not included in rate).
Donegal Highlands:
Half day:
Short visit to Grianan an Aileach stone fort.
2 hr visit to Glenveagh National Park - guided tours of castle (shuttlebus not included in rate).
Full day:
As above plus visit to Dunlewey Centre / Poisoned Glen - boat trip/weaving demonstrations available at Dunlewey (not included in rate).
Guided tours of Derry, Belfast, Giant's Causeway, Sperrins and all other areas of the north also available.
Normal rates based on departure time of 9.30am/return time 5pm. Longer schedules available at extra cost.
