About

Dart Mountain Cheese make a range of award-winning in small batches using the finest local milk. We have a number of tours that we hope will appeal to your individual needs. 

These include: 

1) Dart Mountain Cheese Experience

Why rush when you can sit comfortably and enjoy a leisurely tasting of the full range of our cheeses. Served with some local refreshments you will sample our cows and goats milk cheese alongside some of our accompaniments we also make on site.

 

2) Derry's Famous Beer and Cheese Tour 

An insightful individual tour of two of Derry’s award winning artisan craft food producers. We will commence with a short drive out to Northbound Brewery to get inside the life of working brewery, taste the brews on offer and meet and hear the story of the people producing such wonderful craft brews.

 

3) Sperrin Goat Experience

A seasonal tour run bi-annually during the months of February – March; and June – July. On this tour you will visit our cheesemaking facility to sample the range of goat cheeses we make, the cheesemaking process and a trip to Craigbane Goat Farm to meet the goats and the farmers.

 

4) Hands On 1-Day Cheesemaking Experience
