Dinner & Drinks
Brunch was a while ago so, now it's time to experience the vibrant nightlife Derry has to offer. The reality is, it's hard to suggest just one place for dinner. However, one of the newest venues to our food scene is Umi, an Asian fusion resaurant serving sushi, dumplings, tapas style small plates as well as big plates if you're feeling hungry. They also have a fully licensed bar with a selection of beers, cocktails and a wine list carefully chosen to pair with their dishes.
It's Christmas! So, why not coninue the night in one of our local pubs. It can't be denied, Peadar O'Donnells is one of Derry's favourite watering holes. However, you need to be quick if you wish to cosy up and enjoy this traditional setting for the night. If you don't manage to squeeze in, not to worry - we have plenty more places you will be sure to enjoy.
Located in Guildhall Square, the Guildhall Taphouse steeped in history, yet offers a fresh, alternative take on the traditional bar. They serve food daily until 6pm but, expect live music, craft beers and cocktails all night long. There's plenty of phot opportunties in the square with Ireland's tallest Christmas tree! Be sure to tag us in your snaps @visitderry #visitderry
Another firm favourite is Blackbird. Situated next to the city's bus depot, Blackbird is an ideal venue to enjoy a coffee and a nibble, or a cocktail in the heart of the city.
