Step on board – a new era in emissions-free public transport is emerging

Derry~Londonderry will soon become one of the first cities in the UK and Ireland to operate a fully zero-emission urban bus service and members of the public have been invited to come along and view the future of public transport first-hand. 

Foyle Port has announced it has welcomed its first cruise ship of 2023 on the 12^th of May. The Port, which is the gateway to the North West of Ireland, welcomed Seabourn Ovation as she visited Lough Foyle. This marks the start of the 2023 cruise season when the port will welcome more than double the cruise ships compared to last year.

An outstanding International entry has been confirmed for the tenth anniversary edition of City of Derry International Choir Festival. Between 18-22 October 2023, choirs from around the world will travel to the city to compete for the Festival’s International prize, and to bring their song to local communities throughout Derry, Strabane and Donegal.

Saturday 6^th May 2023 was a proud and momentous day for the management and staff at City of Derry Airport, and the entire Northwest region, as the first service in history between City of Derry and London Heathrow Airport took to the skies.
