Strictly Ballroom the Musical, based on the award-winning world-wide film phenomenon, is heading out to tour the UK and Ireland, starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton!
With direction from dancer, choreographer, theatre director and Britain’s favourite TV Judge, Craig Revel Horwood, Strictly Ballroom the Musical will be foxtrotting around the UK and Ireland!
Bringing together a cast of over 20 world class performers, Strictly Ballroom the Musical follows rebellious young ballroom dancer, Scott Hastings. When his radical dance style sees him fall out of favour with the Australian Federation, he must dance with beginner, Fran. Together they find the courage to defy tradition and discover that to win, your steps don’t need to be strictly ballroom!
Featuring toe tapping numbers such as Love is in the Air, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Time After Time, as well as several wonderful new songs by internationally acclaimed artists including Sia, David Foster and Eddie Perfect. This spectacle is sure to make for an unforgettable evening under the glitter ball that will send your heart soaring!
Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 UK tour of Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Strictly Ballroom The Musical’, has been rescheduled and will now begin in 2023.
This show has been rescheduled from 15-20 March 2021 then from 04-09 April 2022. Tickets are valid for the new dates as follows:
15 March 2021 was valid for 04 April 2022 – now valid for 22 May 2023
16 March 2021 was valid for 05 April 2022 – now valid for 23 May 2023
17 March 2021 was valid for 06 April 2022 – now valid for 24 May 2023
18 March 2021 was valid for 07 April 2022 – now valid for 25 May 2023
19 March 2021 was valid for 08 April 2022 – now valid for 26 May 2023
20 March 2021 was valid for 09 April 2022 – now valid for 27 May 2023.
