Strabane Drama Festival 8th – 16th March 2024

She stoops to conquer is a comedy that makes extensive use of mistaken identity and dramatic irony. It deals with important themes such as arranged marriages versus marriage for love, the differences between the city and the country, the relationship between the English aristocracy and the lower orders, and English colonization.
