Orchestra NorthWest is a community symphony orchestra based in the north west of Ireland, uniting passionate amateur musicians from Derry, Strabane, Donegal and beyond.
Step into a world of musical magic as Orchestra NorthWest presents The Carnival of the Animals - Saint Saens' playful and imaginative journey through the animal kingdom. This beloved piece will delight audiences of all ages with its charm. In the Carnival, you can expect lions, hens, cuckoos, elephants, tortoises…and even some dinosaurs!!
Following this audiences will be taken on a journey through some of the best-loved music from Stage & Screen and will take you to Chicago, New York, Paris, Kraków and Oz!
This event promises to be a truly special experience, giving local audiences the opportunity to experience the wonderful sound of live classical music!
