If you have a sweet tooth and an appetite for science, then join aerospace engineer and judge of Netflix’s Baking Impossible, Andrew Smyth, on a journey to explore the surprising connections between everyday bakes and the extraordinary engineering that helps keep astronauts alive.

About

Andrew Smyth is an aerospace engineer, baker, presenter and producer based in Derby, UK. He gained a nationwide following for his outrageously engineered creations when he reached the final of The Great British Bake Off in 2016. Since then, he's created the art of “bakineering”, toured live shows around the UK & Ireland and produced & starred in an original Netflix series, “Baking Impossible”, released in October 2021.
