Fiona Scott Trotter- The Divas Story
In this show, we will be taking you on a magical musical journey from THE COTTON CLUB In HARLEM NEW YORK in the 1930s through time to the GOLDEN ERA OF JAZZ, with all the glitz and glamour of All the Legendary Jazz Vocalists. We will be performing all the greats such as BILLY HOLIDAY, ELLA FITZGERALD, SARAH VAUGHAN, DINAH WASHINGTON, just to name few, right up to present day with singers of EMMY AWARD WINNERS like DIANNE REEVES AND SAMARA JOY.
In our performance we will play all many facets of Jazz Music and Vocal interpretations of the different styles and genres of Jazz Vocals from its birth to present day vocalizations. from SWING, BLUES, AMERICAN SONGBOOK, BE BOP, BOSSANOVA AND VOCALESE.
This is a very diverse and exciting show, in which the audience, for whom may be an introduction, to the aficionados to the colourful and wonderful world of Jazz Music to be transported through time.
From Heartfelt Ballads, to Sassy Blues, Up tempo Swing to Smooth Latin Jazz, This show has it all.
