About

Set in an ancient Celtic rainforest, Wild Ireland is a unique wildlife sanctuary where nature, history, and conservation come to life. Located on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, just a short drive from Derry City and Greencastle Port, Wild Ireland offers an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the magic of the rainforest while coming face to face with animals that once roamed Ireland, including bears, wolves, lynx, and many other species. Each resident has a story—where they came from, how they were rescued, and when their species disappeared from the island.

Conservation is at the heart of everything we do. By visiting, you directly support our rescue and conservation efforts both in Ireland and around the world. It’s a WILD day out for the whole family!
