OAKFEST 2024 – Oakfield Park, Raphoe, Co Donegal

Donegal's much anticipated family friendly festival, Oakfest, is back again for 2024 for 2 days, September 7th & 8th with 2 very different line ups, full of hit after hit and nostalgia galore, across 2 stages, to rock and entertain you like never before!
"This year we are making the event even bigger & better than ever before and are proud to share the Oakfest line-up with you all! An exciting musical line-up awaits, promising the very best in food offerings, bigger & more bars, with the all new VIP section and added entertainment for all the family in the most unique setting of Oakfield Park, right in the heart of Donegal" says David Fisher, Director.

Headlining Day 1, Saturday 7th September is the legend that is Chris Norman, the original voice of Smokie, British soft rock singer with an international following whose career spans several decades, known both for his solo hits in the '80s as well as his hits with Smokie in the '70s, Chris will be performing all the classics you will love to sing along to! Oh Carol, Mexican Girl, For A few Dollars More, I'll Meet You at Mid Night and of course the famous Living Next Door to Alice, plus, many more familiar songs.
Up next are English glam rock band MUD, formed in February 1966. Their earlier success came in a pop and then glam rock style, while later hits were influenced by 1950s rock & roll and rock ability and will be belting out their hits including "Dynamite" & "Tiger Feet" with 14 UK Top 20 hits between 1973 and 1976, including 3 number ones!
"Things Can Only Get Better" as D: REAM take to the stage, who's 1993 hit sold over 600,000 copies and is as popular today as it was back then.
Direct from their Glastonbury performance on stage will be English rock band Top Loader, famous for their chart-topping hit, Dancing in the Moon Light hit and with over two million album sales and several top 20 hits both home and abroad they are guaranteed to have you truly entertained.
Back by popular demand once again is none other than Rory & The Island, an Oakfest favourite the super performer Donegal singer/songwriter, who needs no introduction will once again entertain like only Rory can!
Get ready to be blown away by the musical talents of The Pontius Pilots from Strabane, Co. Tyrone celebrating their 15th anniversary, have firmly established themselves as one of Ireland's premier covers bands, the foursome have a wealth of performance experience that has seen members playing in places as far flung as Japan and Australia, as well as having graced some of the most prestigious music festival stages like Glastonbury and Hyde Park'.
Proving to be deserving of a spot on the stage once again are the sensational local band Sheerbuzz.

Day 2 Sunday 8th September
Day 2 of Oakfest brings a host of international Tribute acts. direct from Sweden are super band Arrival from Sweden! Celebrating the music of Abba having sold out the SSE, Millennium Forum, Derry, and fresh from Brighton where they celebrated 50 years of Abba performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Arrival from Sweden is made up of musicians that performed on stage with the original band.

Selling out major music venues, Mack Fleetwood will bring you on a magical musical journey from the Peter Green blues era to the multi-platinum selling band that still tour today.

Take a trip back in time to experience the magic and excitement of a live Queen concert with headliners Supersonic Queen: an action-packed show that it is truly "guaranteed to blow your mind". Bringing all the spirit and majesty of Queen to audiences all over the UK. With an unparalleled energy and charisma this totally live 5-piece band deliver the best Queen tribute you'll see today. They are the band that everybody wants to see receiving glowing praise from audiences of all ages and die-hard queen fans alike.

Alecia Karr-Official Tribute to Pink. The only girl to meet and sing live to her American idol. Endorsed by the Pink official fan page, Alecia has performed all over the UK and Europe. A very accomplished solo performer and formally recognised as the official tribute to Pink. Alecia has been performing her unbelievable tribute to the lady since 2005. She looks incredibly like the artist herself and many of her costumes are identical to Pink's stage outfits.

The multi-talented Lauren Porter, So Taylor, as Taylor Swift with her amazing stage presence, is a very much sought-after performer, covering all the country pop stars hits, with dazzling costumes, high energy and a beautiful voice you will not want to miss!

Mairead Rooney as Shania Twain, brings to life the music and hits of the Canadian Superstar. With her impeccable vocals and stage presence she will have you dancing the night away as she delivers Irelands No.1 tribute to one of the great Queens of Country. capping of a fantastic day of music.

Aside from the live music, we promise bigger and more bars, with the addition of local brewers Kinnegar setting up an outdoor bar in one of the stretch tents, Buffers will be serving delicious food, the BBQ's will be fired up and the trains will be running throughout the day. Bigger and more children's entertainment in keeping with our family friendly theme.

Shuttle buses will run from Letterkenny by McGettigan Travel from and return to Mc Cafferty's Pub and there will be a pick-up in Raphoe also.
